What is a Hospitalist
Our Hospitalists are Board Certified physicians who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients.
Hospitalists work closely with the patient and the patient's family members, primary care physician, specialists and other hospital departments to provide seamless, effective, and high quality care during the patient's hospital stay.
Hospitalists only see patients in the hospital setting and do not see patients once they leave the hospital. The hospital does not pay the physician for his or her services, the reimbursement for these services are achieved by billing patients directly, and using medical insurance whenever available.
Many primary care physicians are finding that dividing their time between office and hospital patients does not always allow for the best quality care for hospitalized patients. Therefore, doctors are increasingly entrusting their patients to a hospitalist whose practice is entirely focused on in-patient care. Once the patient is discharged from the hospital, the primary care physician will resume responsibility for the patient's medical care.

We have a working relationship with hospital nursing staff, case managers and care coordinators and deliver timely, high quality inpatient care with a safe and fast discharge.
Partnering with the primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care
We achieve high quality in-patient care with strong autonomy and teamwork with primary care physicians and specialist physicians.
We assist primary care and specialist physicians with hospital admissions and consults as well as maintain ongoing communication twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
We provide patients and primary physicians with discharge documentation and after care plans and arrange proper post-hospital follow up and care.
